Why does our work matter ?
Through advocacy and support from local and international organizations, FSEDI Foundation seeks to promote and implement the process of local enterprise development that will focus both on urban and rural areas; our work will cover as many areas as possible by working through our economic growth pole structure which follows the senatorial distribution both at state level and accross the entire country.
Our work will be executed as projects of varying structures and objectives, they will reach a wide range of enterprise development clusters including students/youth, women, retirees and investors. We understand that enterprise development is the key to job creation and we have created structured systems and processes to promote job creation through advocacy, access to finance programs, human capacity development training, seminars and conferences and the facilitation of local enterprise development projects.
How do we work?
SEDI Foundation has developed a strategic framework to reach over 1 million people in the rural areas as well as the urban centres. Using the M4P approach, the project aims to lift people at the grassroot level out of poverty by ensuring improved livelihood and sustainable income growth. This framework model will be applied in all the Niger Delta states in the following categories using a top-down approach:
- Region
- State
- Economic growth poles
- Economic growth centres
- Value chains
- LED Implementation
